The Caldwell Field Recoil Shield is a lightweight slip-on accessory designed to dramatically reduce felt recoil from shotguns at the range or in the field. Built around a patented foam recoil system with a 1/4" thick energy-absorbing pad, this shield cushions your shoulder during firing without altering your gun's fit or function.

The Field shield pairs a durable tan cloth outer sleeve with soft leather panels on the front and back. The leather surfaces provide ample friction to keep the gun locked into the shield and to keep the shield locked firmly against your shoulder, even during rapid fire. An ambidextrous design works equally well for right- and left-handed shooters.
