The Caldwell E-Max is an electronic over-the-head hearing protection muff designed for shotgun shooters, action shooters, and general range use. This adult-size unit pairs a low-profile earcup design with active electronic amplification so the shooter can hear range commands and conversation clearly while still being protected from harmful muzzle blast.

At its core, the E-Max delivers a 25 dB Noise Reduction Rating. Two independent microphones - one in each earcup - produce true stereo sound, while an integrated compression circuit automatically shuts off speaker output above 85 decibels to safeguard the shooter's hearing during loud report. Cushioned foam ear cups provide comfort for extended sessions at the bench or on the line.

Finished in green earcups with a black headband, this over-the-head muff runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included) and is built around a compact cup profile that stays clear of the stock during shouldering.
