The Caldwell DeadShot Rear Shooting Bag is a precision rear rest accessory built to support the buttstock of rifles and shotguns when paired with a front rest or other shooting support. Part of Caldwell's DeadShot line of shooting bags, this unfilled rear bag is the compact, standard-size partner to the larger DeadShot front bag.

The shell is constructed from durable, water-resistant 600 Denier polyester with a strip of leather padding sewn across the top surface. The leather crown delivers a high-friction gripping surface that holds the stock steady without scratching the finish, while the rugged polyester body resists moisture, abrasion, and the wear of repeated fill-and-empty cycles. Caldwell's Quick-connect attachment lets the bag detach from its base plate for compact transport and snap back into place in seconds at the bench.

Sold unfilled, the bag is loaded with the shooter's media of choice - dry sand, plastic media, or other fill material - to dial in the exact weight and stability needed for benchrest, varmint, and precision rimfire work.
