The Byrna Technologies SD Kinetic Kit is a .68 caliber CO2-powered less-lethal self-defense launcher finished in black polymer. Built for home defense, vehicle carry, and personal protection, the Byrna SD uses pull-pierce CO2 technology to fire kinetic and/or chemical irritant projectiles at targets out to 60 feet, with a muzzle velocity of up to 300 fps (204 mph). The launcher is legal in all 50 states and ships without the background checks or permits typically required for a traditional firearm.

This SD Kinetic Kit includes the launcher outfitted with black fixed sights and a Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights, lasers, or other accessories. The frame is built from polymer with a rubber honeycomb over-molded grip for positive control. The launcher measures 7.28" long, 1.6" wide, and 5.7" tall, weighing approximately 1.1 pounds - compact enough for bedside storage or packing into a vehicle.

The kit ships range-ready with two 5-round magazines, 15 .68 caliber kinetic projectiles, and an 8-gram CO2 cartridge so the launcher can be put to work right out of the box. Compatible with Byrna's full line of .68 caliber projectiles - including eco-kinetic, HD inert, and chemical irritant rounds - the Byrna SD gives the user a versatile, non-lethal self-defense option suitable for home, vehicle, or outdoor carry.
