It bridges the proprietary Ruger base pattern and the universal Weaver rail, opening up a much wider selection of modern ring and optic combinations for the host rifle.

Specifically designed for the Ruger M77 rifle that carries the integral bases (commonly found on rifles originally equipped with the Burris Eliminator Laser Scope), this adapter installs directly to the receiver to provide a strong, repeatable mounting platform.
