The Burn Proof Gear Rail-Rap is a purpose-built Kevlar TEX-80 heat shield and rail cover designed to protect the shooter's support hand from the heat generated by rail systems on suppressed and rapid-fire AR-15 and similar platforms. Sized at 6" long by 2.5" wide, this slim Rail-Rap slides over rail sections with diameters from 1.5" to 2", providing a soft, non-slip reference point for hand placement while shielding against rail temperatures up to 800 degrees F.

Constructed from Kevlar TEX-80, the Rail-Rap adds virtually no bulk to the rifle and weighs just 2 oz. The Coyote Brown colorway (BPG-RR-CB) blends well with most desert and tactical finishes, and the wrap-style installation requires no permanent modification to the firearm.
