BSF Barrels SF3 6.5 Creedmoor 18" 1:8 Carbon Fiber Bolt Action Barrel

BSF Barrels builds some of the most distinctive precision rifle barrels on the market, turning a button-rifled 416R stainless steel match-grade core and loading it into a roll-wrapped, tensioned carbon fiber sleeve that is drilled to vent barrel heat and help prevent delamination. The SF3 is BSF's bolt-action replacement barrel, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and ready to install on a custom precision build in place of a heavier factory blank.

This SF3 (MPN SF3IYT0229) comes in at 18" long with a 1:8 rifling twist that stabilizes the full range of modern 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights from lighter projectiles out to heavy 140+ grain match bullets. The button-rifled bore is housed in a 416R stainless steel blank, encased in BSF's signature roll-wrapped carbon fiber wrap, and finished at the muzzle with an 11 degree target crown.

At 18" the SF3 weighs roughly 38.3 oz, a meaningful weight savings over a comparable contour all-stainless blank. Made in the USA, this is a barrel only - no action, stock, or bolt is included - and it is intended for the gunsmith or end user stepping up to a competition-grade 6.5 Creedmoor on a custom bolt-action build.
