The BSF Barrels Pre-Fit Bolt Action Barrel in 6.5 PRC is a precision drop-in replacement barrel designed to fit compatible bolt action rifle platforms without requiring custom gunsmithing. Machined from 416R stainless steel and wrapped in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension, this barrel delivers match-grade accuracy at a significantly reduced weight compared to traditional all-steel contours. The carbon fiber exterior is drilled to vent heat, helping prevent delamination and maintain dimensional stability over extended firing sessions, and the surface is not ported (no slots) for a clean, snag-free profile in the field.

This 20" barrel is cut with a 1:8 twist rate optimized for stabilizing the long, heavy projectiles commonly used in 6.5 PRC hunting and long-range precision applications. The bore is finished with 6-groove button rifling and the muzzle is crowned with an 11 degree target crown for consistent bullet release shot after shot. The blank is double stress relieved to lock in dimensional stability and point-of-aim consistency across a long service life. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 for direct installation of compatible muzzle brakes, thread protectors, or sound suppressors.
