The Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter Special is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, engineered for long-range accuracy on open-country game. It is built around a short action with a 24" matte stainless steel sporter-contour barrel belled to a 5/8x24 thread pitch and capped with a protective thread protector, giving shooters a ready platform for muzzle accessories or suppressor mounting.

The receiver is machined from matte stainless steel and is drilled and tapped for scope bases, providing a rigid, repeatable mounting surface for optics. A 1:8" twist rate stabilizes the broad spectrum of 6.5 PRC bullet weights favored in western hunting. With an overall length of 44" and a carry weight of 6.10 lbs, this full-size rifle is balanced, packable, and ready for backcountry hunts.

The X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter Special ships without iron sights, leaving the top of the action clean for the scope of your choice. The trigger is Browning's Adjustable Deluxe design, offering a clean, user-tunable pull for consistent shot-to-shot performance.
