The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SR is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in the modern, high-performance 6.8 Western cartridge, designed for pursuing elk, moose, and other large game at extended range. This suppressor-ready configuration pairs a precision bolt-action platform with a threaded heavy sporter barrel and Browning's Recoil Hawg muzzle brake for reduced felt recoil and easy suppressor attachment.

At the heart of the rifle is a 24" heavy sporter threaded barrel with a 1:7.5" twist, optimized to stabilize the long, heavy-for-caliber bullets the 6.8 Western was designed around. The barrel is mated to a stainless steel receiver finished to resist the elements, and the action is drilled and tapped for optics with no iron sights installed so you can mount the scope of your choice.

The stock is Browning's Vari-Tech composite adjustable platform, finished in Ovix camouflage for blending into natural hunting environments. Vari-Tech lets the shooter dial in length of pull, comb height, and grip angle for a personalized fit. The rifle carries a 3+1 capacity via a detachable rotary magazine, weighs 7.20 lbs, and measures 44" overall, a balanced and packable rifle for serious western hunters.
