The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is a precision bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the flat-shooting, long-range 6.5 PRC cartridge. Built on a short action and fed from a 3-round detachable magazine, it pairs a 20-inch fluted sporter barrel with Browning's adjustable Vari-Tech stock for a lightweight, weather-ready rig built for open-country hunting.

The X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is built around a stainless steel receiver and tipped with a radial muzzle brake to tame felt recoil from 6.5 PRC loads. The fluted sporter barrel keeps weight down and aids cooling between shots, and is buttoned up with a 1:7-inch twist well suited to the long, heavy-for-caliber projectiles that make the 6.5 PRC effective on elk, deer, and other big game. The rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the top of the receiver ready for scope mounting so you can add your optic of choice right out of the box.

The adjustable Vari-Tech stock is finished in Browning's OVIX natural camouflage, designed to break up the rifle's outline in western and timber hunting environments. Vari-Tech allows the length of pull, comb height, and cast to be tuned for a custom fit, with a factory length of pull of 13 5/8 inches. At a manageable 6.60 lbs and an overall length of 40 inches, the Speed SPR is easy to carry all day in the field without giving up the accuracy expected of an X-Bolt.

At 3+1 capacity, the X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR meets standard hunting-magazine restrictions while still giving a hunter three rounds on tap plus one in the chamber. The combination of a fluted sporter barrel, adjustable Vari-Tech stock, and short-action design makes this 6.5 PRC bolt-action ready to mount a scope and head to the range or the backcountry.
