The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special SPR is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built for big-game hunters who want long-range reach in a trim, fast-handling package. The action is anchored by a matte black steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, paired with a 24" threaded sporter barrel in a matching matte black finish and capped with a thread protector so a muzzle device or suppressor can be added in seconds.

The X-Bolt 2 action runs a smooth bolt throw topped with an ergonomic bolt knob and feeds from a 3+1 capacity. A tang safety keeps the rifle ready to fire while still allowing for safe carry, and the Adjustable Deluxe trigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp break. The barrel features a 1:7.5" twist, well-matched to the heavy, high-BC projectiles the 6.8 Western was designed around.

Up top, the X-Bolt 2 Special SPR wears an OD Green weather-resistant composite stock with an adjustable comb and length of pull, so the rifle can be fit cleanly behind a variety of optics and shooting positions. The synthetic stock keeps the package light at approximately 6.12 lbs, and the overall length comes in at 44". Iron sights are not included, leaving the receiver clean for the shooter's preferred scope base and optic. Configured for a right-handed shooter.
