The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special SPR is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. Built around the proven X-Bolt 2 action, the Special SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) configuration pairs a 22" threaded barrel with a drilled and tapped receiver to serve as a versatile all-around field rifle for hunting and general shooting.

Up front sits a 22" matte black threaded barrel in a heavy sporter contour, mated to a matte black steel drilled and tapped receiver. The threaded muzzle accepts suppressors or other muzzle accessories; a thread protector is included. The barrel's 1:10" twist stabilizes a wide range of .243 Win bullet weights for varied hunting and shooting applications. A detachable box magazine feeds the action for a 4+1 capacity.

This X-Bolt 2 carries a crisp, user-adjustable Deluxe trigger and a tang safety for clean shot placement and fast, glove-friendly manipulation in the field. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting; no iron sights are fitted, leaving the top of the action clean for optics.

Wearing a weather-resistant OD Green composite stock with an adjustable comb and length of pull, this right-hand rifle lets shooters dial in a proper cheek weld and trigger reach for consistent eye alignment with their scope.
