The Browning X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro SPR in 300 PRC is a precision bolt-action hunting rifle purpose-built for long-range work in the mountains. Chambered in the high-ballistic-coefficient 300 PRC cartridge and built on Browning's proven long action bolt platform, this SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) variant pairs a lightweight carbon fiber stock with a spiral-fluted barrel for a rifle that carries easy and shoots flat.

At the heart of the rifle is a 22" spiral-fluted, threaded stainless steel barrel finished in Smoked Bronze Cerakote, featuring a 1:8" twist that stabilizes the long, heavy projectiles favored in 300 PRC loads. A factory-installed Recoil Hawg muzzle brake tames felt recoil, and the barrel is threaded 5/8"-24 for straightforward suppressor or muzzle-device swaps. The stainless steel receiver is finished in matching Smoked Bronze Cerakote and feeds from a detachable 3-round magazine for a 3+1 total capacity.

The Mountain Pro stock is finished in a Digital Camouflage pattern and is built around a carbon fiber shell for serious weight savings. It features Browning's adjustable comb and adjustable length-of-pull system, letting shooters dial in proper eye-to-scope alignment with larger objective optics and a comfortable, repeatable cheek weld. Overall length is 42.75" and the rifle tips the scales at just 6.50 lbs, making it a natural carry for high-country hunters on foot.

Controls are classic Browning: a three-position tang safety for safe carry, loaded chamber, and fire, and a smooth-feeling bolt throw that feeds from the detachable box magazine. The rifle ships from the factory with no iron sights installed, leaving the top of the action clean for scope mounting.
