A 1:9.5" twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights suited to 7mm Rem Mag hunting loads, and the threaded muzzle (M13x0.75) comes protected by Browning's included thread protector, ready to accept a compatible muzzle device or suppressor. The action feeds from a detachable 3-round magazine for fast reloads, giving the rifle an overall capacity of 3+1. The X-Bolt 2 action features a reconfigured receiver with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother, more consistent operation shot after shot.

The Hunter Composite wears a matte black finish throughout, including the checkered composite stock that ships with Browning's adjustable Vari-Tech comb system so shooters can dial in eye alignment with their optic. An adjustable trigger lets you tune the pull weight to your preference, and the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept an optics base or scope mount (sold separately). With no iron sights installed, this rifle is set up as a dedicated scope-mount platform.
