The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite in the Two-Tone configuration is a modern bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. It pairs a matte stainless steel receiver with a blued 24" threaded sporter-contour barrel, giving the rifle its distinctive two-tone appearance. The short-action design feeds from a 3+1 detachable magazine and features Browning's signature spiral-fluted bolt for smooth cycling and easy visual chamber indication.
The 24" free-floated sporter-contour barrel carries a 1:7" twist rate optimized for the heavier, high-BC projectiles favored in 6.5 PRC hunting and long-range work. It is factory threaded and ships with Browning's radial muzzle brake installed to reduce felt recoil. The rifle tips the scales at approximately 6 lbs 1 oz (6.08 lbs) and measures 44" overall, making it well-balanced for all-day carry in the field.
The black Vari-Tech composite stock with gray overmolded grip surfaces is Browning's most adjustable hunting platform. The Vari-Tech system offers an adjustable length of pull, an adjustable comb height, and interchangeable grip modules so the rifle can be tailored to individual shooters and shooting conditions.
Controls follow the proven X-Bolt pattern: a tang-mounted safety offers instant thumb access, and Browning's adjustable Deluxe trigger delivers a clean, crisp pull. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and ships without iron sights, allowing the shooter to mount optics suited to their preferred game and environment.
Manufactured by Browning and shipping new from the factory, the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite Two-Tone in 6.5 PRC is a versatile, modern bolt-action hunting rifle well suited for plains game, western big game, and long-range hunting applications.
