The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, designed around Browning's proven short-action platform with a focus on accuracy, balance, and adaptability in the field.

At the heart of this rifle is a 22-inch threaded sporter barrel finished in Tungsten Cerakote Black (TCB) and paired with a factory-installed radial muzzle brake to tame felt recoil. The barrel carries a 1:10 twist rate, well-suited to the broad range of .308 Win bullet weights commonly used for big game hunting.

The action is built on a steel receiver in the X-Bolt 2 short-action configuration, feeding from a detachable 4-round box magazine for a total capacity of 4+1. The trigger is Browning's adjustable Deluxe design, allowing the shooter to fine-tune pull weight to preference, and a top tang safety provides intuitive, thumb-friendly operation. Factory sights are not included, leaving the receiver ready for your preferred scope or optic.

The stock is Browning's Vari-Tech adjustable composite design finished in black, pairing lightweight durability with the ability to dial in length of pull for a proper fit across shooters and shooting positions. The rifle tips the scales at 6.08 lbs and measures 42" overall, making it a nimble, well-balanced companion for western big game, whitetail country, and everything in between.
