The Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Special LR SPR is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag, introduced as a 2026 SHOT Show Special for hunters and long-range shooters who want magnum-class reach in an all-weather, optics-ready package. It carries a 22" matte stainless steel barrel with a threaded muzzle and thread protector for easy suppressor or muzzle-device fitment, and is built around Browning's updated X-Bolt 2 action with smoother bolt guidance for reliable cycling in the field.

The matte stainless steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optic bases, ready to mount glass through Browning's X-Lock scope mounting system. The barrel is cut with a 1:8" twist that stabilizes a broad spread of 300 Win Mag bullet weights. Iron sights are not fitted, leaving the top of the receiver clean for the shooter's preferred scope or red dot.

Controls are simple and intuitive: a crisp Adjustable Deluxe trigger lets the shooter dial in pull weight, and a tang safety keeps the levers out of the way when shouldering the rifle.
