Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Hunter 6.8 Western 24" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Hunter is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the 6.8 Western cartridge. Built around a short-action bolt with a 3+1 capacity, the X-Bolt 2 Composite Hunter pairs modern long-range performance with a light, fast-handling platform for field use.

The rifle features a 24 in threaded sporter barrel with a 1:7.5 twist rate to stabilize modern long-range hunting projectiles. A factory-installed radial muzzle brake tames recoil at the muzzle and threads onto the barrel so it can be removed or swapped for a suppressor or other muzzle device. The steel receiver is finished in a corrosion-resistant Tungsten Cerakote.

Shooter interface is anchored by Browning's Adjustable Deluxe trigger, which lets the owner dial in pull weight and feel, and a top tang safety. The black Vari-Tech composite stock is adjustable for length of pull and comb height to fit a wide range of shooters and shooting positions, and it rides on a recoil pad to keep follow-up shots comfortable. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed and is set up for optics mounting right out of the box.

At 44 in overall length and 6.10 lbs, the X-Bolt 2 Composite Hunter is a well-balanced bolt-action hunting rifle ready for field use.
