The Browning Maxus II Black Gold is a premium 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun built around Browning's proven gas-operated action and chambered for the versatile 3" shell. The 28" vent-rib barrel is matte blued over steel and pairs with a fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead for fast, intuitive target acquisition in the field or on the clays course.

The Black Gold variant features an engraved aluminum alloy receiver finished in black with contrasting gold waterfowl and pheasant accents. The Grade III Turkish walnut stock wears an oil finish with a close-radius pistol grip and is shim-adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop, allowing the shotgun to be dialed in for any shooter. The Lightning trigger delivers a crisp, consistent pull, and an Inflex II recoil pad helps tame muzzle flip across long days afield.

The Maxus II cycles a 4-round 2.75" shell magazine tube and ships with three flush-mount Invector-Plus choke tubes - Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder - so it is ready for waterfowl, upland birds, and sporting clays right out of the box. Overall length is 49.38" and unloaded weight is approximately 7.30 lbs for balanced handling in any setting.
