The Browning Maxus II in 12 Gauge is a gas-operated semi-auto shotgun built around a 3.5" chamber and a 28" vent-rib barrel, making it a capable choice for waterfowl hunting. The Maxus II reliably cycles a wide range of 12-gauge loads from light 2.75" target shells up to heavy 3.5" magnums.

This configuration wears Browning's Auric Camo concealment pattern across the stock, forearm, and exposed metalwork, breaking up the gun's outline in marsh and field environments. The stock provides a 14.375" length of pull, 1.75" drop at comb, and 2" drop at heel for a natural point of aim. The shotgun measures 49.375" overall and weighs approximately 7 lbs 2 oz.

The vent-rib barrel is fitted with a bright fiber-optic front sight paired with an ivory mid-bead for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light.
