The Browning Maxus II is a refined semi-automatic 12 Gauge shotgun built for waterfowl hunting where reliability, soft recoil, and fast follow-up shots matter. This Maxus II variant is chambered for 3.5" magnum shells and is paired with a 26" back-bored vent-rib barrel, all wrapped in full-coverage Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage that disappears in flooded timber and marsh grass.
Browning's semi-automatic action feeds from a tube magazine with a total capacity of 4+1 (with 2.75" shells). The right-handed crossbolt safety falls naturally to the thumb, while the Lightning trigger provides a clean, consistent break. The shotgun weighs 7 lbs and measures 47.37" overall.
The fixed synthetic stock matches the barrel in Mossy Oak Bottomland and features Browning's SoftFlex cheek pad along with overmolded grip panels for a secure hold and improved shooting comfort on long sits. A fiber-optic front sight sits atop the vent rib behind an ivory mid-bead rear for fast, intuitive target pickup in low light.
Pattern versatility comes from Browning's Invector-Plus Extended choke system, and this shotgun ships from the factory with three flush chokes: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. Whether you are stretching out for late-season geese or pushing through flooded corn for mallards, the Maxus II blends Browning's hunting pedigree with modern ergonomics and handling.
