The Browning BAR MK4 Speed is a semi-automatic hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, built around Browning's long-established gas-operated autoloading action that has set the standard for hunting autoloaders for decades. The Speed variant pairs a 22-inch fluted barrel with Browning's Ovix camouflage stock finish, giving big-game hunters a fast-handling rifle ready for a wide range of North American conditions.

The semi-auto action cycles a detachable 4-round box magazine, giving the rifle a 4+1 capacity suitable for follow-up shots on deer, elk, and similar game. The fluted barrel trims carry weight and sheds heat efficiently between shots, while a 1:10 twist rate stabilizes the broad spectrum of .308 Win bullet weights from light varmint projectiles through heavy controlled-expansion hunting bullets. The barrel wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in wet or coastal terrain, and the receiver is machined from aluminum alloy to keep carry weight down.

The adjustable Ovix camo stock lets the shooter dial in length of pull and comb height for a consistent sight picture across shooting positions. Iron sights are not included, so the owner can mount a scope directly to the integrated receiver rail. At 46.13 inches overall and 7.05 pounds, the BAR MK4 Speed carries comfortably on long stalks and handles quickly off a shooting stick or from a prone position.
