The Browning BAR MK4 Speed OVIX is a gas-operated Semi-Auto hunting rifle chambered in 243 Win and built around Browning's proven action bar and inertia block system. Shipped with no factory iron sights, the rifle is set up for direct optic mounting on the aluminum alloy receiver.

A 22-inch fluted barrel features a 1:10" twist to stabilize the 243 Win's full range of bullet weights, while the fluting reduces front-end mass and helps dissipate heat during long hunts. Overall length measures 46.13" and the rifle tips the scales at roughly 7.05 lbs for a balanced carry from the truck to the treestand. The receiver wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in wet weather and rough terrain.

The composite stock is finished in Browning's OVIX camouflage pattern with a shim-adjustable design that lets the shooter dial in length of pull (14 3/8" standard) and comb height for a proper fit. A raised SoftFlex cheekpiece provides a secure, consistent mount behind the optic, and an Inflex recoil pad softens felt recoil for fast follow-up shots.
