The Browning BAR MK4 Hunter is a refined semi-automatic hunting rifle built on Browning's proven Automatic Rifle platform. Chambered in 270 Winchester, it pairs a 22" fluted sporter-contour barrel with a 4+1 capacity and a 1:10" twist rate suited to the wide range of 270 Win bullet weights.

The MK4 Hunter pairs classic BAR lines with modern materials. Its matte blued aluminum alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting, while the fluted barrel sheds weight and aids cooling between shots. The gas-piston semi-auto action is engineered to feed and cycle a broad range of factory 270 Win ammunition.

The rifle wears a tough black composite stock with Browning's adjustable shim system, allowing cast on/off and comb drop to be tuned to the individual shooter. The matte black stock finish stands up to weather and rough use in the field. No iron sights are included; the receiver is set up to accept your choice of optic via factory drilled-and-tapped bases.
