The Browning 1911 A1 Full Size is a rimfire take on the legendary 1911 pistol, scaled to approximately 85% of the original Government Model and chambered in 22 LR for an inexpensive, low-recoil shooting experience that preserves classic 1911 ergonomics and controls. This is the CA Compliant configuration built to meet California's roster and feature requirements.

The pistol uses a single-action only (SAO) trigger system paired with a traditional thumb safety, the same manual of arms carried by centerfire 1911s. The high-strength lightweight alloy frame is finished in matte black and shaped with an extended beavertail for a high, secure grip. Topping the frame is a gray anodized alloy slide with classic vertical serrations fore and aft for easy charging and press checks.

A 4.25" stainless steel barrel gives the 1911 A1 a familiar sight radius and feeds the 10+1 single-stack magazine. Iron sights are the standard Black A1 front and rear arrangement, paired cleanly with the slide profile for both target acquisition and easy sight-picture training. Checkered walnut grips round out the package with a classic, finished look that contrasts nicely with the slide.
