The Browning 1911-22 Black Label Compact brings the classic 1911 pistol platform to the .22 LR rimfire world in a scaled-down, easy-to-shoot package. Built to roughly 85% of the original Government Model profile, this Compact variant delivers familiar 1911 ergonomics and controls in a smaller, lighter handgun ideally suited to plinking, training, casual target shooting, and small-game hunting.

At the heart of this pistol is a 3.63" stainless steel barrel with a target crown, paired with an overall length of 6 7/8" and a 13 oz carry weight. The action is a crisp single-action only design with a traditional 1911-style grip safety, fed by a 10-round magazine for 10+1 total capacity. Fixed sights ride on a serrated matte black slide that reduces glare and provides positive slide manipulation.

The frame uses a lightweight polymer and aluminum construction with a matte black finish for corrosion resistance and easy everyday carry. An integrated beavertail aids in comfortable, high hand placement, while black laminate stippled grips deliver a secure hold in the hand. The scaled Compact profile makes this 1911-22 an excellent choice for rimfire training and for introducing new shooters to the 1911 manual of arms without the cost, recoil, or noise of a centerfire chambering.
