British Mk.4 37mm 4 BBL Flare Pistol - with Lanyard Ring

A Webley & Scott Mark IV pattern 37mm flare pistol with 4" barrel. These were primarily designed for use on RAF aircraft during WWII. The barrel is cast then machined on the front and inside, but not the sides, which gives it a rougher look. The left side of the pistol is marked 'MARK IV' over the serial number.

• Heavy steel construction with a mixture of machined and cast parts
• Stamped 'Webley & Scott LTD, Birmingham'
• No aircraft lugs — likely sold for commercial/civilian use
• Lanyard ring
• Blued or black stoving finish is worn away and is now a frosty patina
• Double action trigger
• Hammer-block safety
• Brass trigger guard
• Bakelite grips with possible chipping on the edges
• No hand select available
