The Breek Arms Sledgehammer is a purpose-built ambidextrous charging handle for the AR-10 / LR-308 platform, bringing Breek Arms' oversized, positive-latch charging handle design over to the larger-pattern .308 rifle.

Machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a rugged Type 3 hard anodize in gray, the Sledgehammer is built to handle hard use on the AR-10 upper. Its ambidextrous design lets the shooter run the bolt from either side of the rifle, and the integrated gas-blocking / gas-deflecting geometry helps redirect hot gases and debris away from the shooter's face during suppressed fire or adverse shooting conditions.

At roughly 2.59" overall length and just 1.4 oz, the Sledgehammer drops into any standard AR-10 / LR-308 upper and is a popular upgrade for .308 builds running suppressed where a more positive, ambidextrous charging experience is desired without adding bulk.
