Breek Arms Sledgehammer AR-10/LR-308 7075-T6 Ambidextrous Charging Handle - FDE

The Breek Arms Sledgehammer ambidextrous charging handle is purpose-built for AR-10 / LR-308 pattern rifles. Machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a tough Type III hard-coat anodized Flat Dark Earth coating, it is engineered as a drop-in upgrade for the heavy-receiver AR platform.

The Sledgehammer uses a wide 2.59" ambidextrous latch that gives the shooter positive purchase from either side of the rifle, making it easy to chamber a round or clear a malfunction without shifting your grip. Its oversized profile also helps deflect escaping gas away from the shooter's face when the rifle is run suppressed, a real benefit for short-barrel and heavy-barrel AR-10 builds.

Fitting DPMS-style AR-10 / LR-308 lowers (see compatibility list), the Sledgehammer drops into the upper receiver as a direct replacement for the factory charging handle. At just 1.4 oz, it adds tangible function without meaningful weight at the upper receiver, and the Type III anodized finish stands up to hard use in the field.
