Bounty Hunter Tracker IV Recreational Metal Detector - 8" Waterproof Searchcoil

The Bounty Hunter Tracker IV is a recreational ground-search metal detector built for beginners, families, and hobbyists who want to find coins, jewelry, relics, and other buried metal. It uses an 8" waterproof concentric searchcoil that can be submerged in shallow water at the beach or in streams, and the lightweight design makes it comfortable for long sessions in the field.

The control housing keeps operation simple with just two knobs for Sensitivity and Discrimination, plus a three-position mode switch for All Metal, Full Discrimination, and Tone Discrimination. An analog signal-strength meter on the face of the unit gives real-time feedback as targets are swept, helping pinpoint good finds before digging.

In optimal ground conditions the Tracker IV detects coin-sized targets up to about 7" and responds to everything from iron relics and household items to silver and gold. The detector runs on 2 x 9V batteries (not included) and includes a 1/4" headphone jack for use with optional headphones in noisy environments. Total weight is just 2.6 lbs, making it easy to carry on all-day treasure hunts.
