The Bond Arms Snakeslayer IV is a compact break-action derringer built around a versatile .45 Colt / .410 Bore dual-chamber design. Engineered to digest both .45 Colt cartridges and 2-1/2" or 3" .410 shot shells, this derringer is purpose-built for personal protection and backcountry sport shooting where snakes or other close-range threats may appear.

At the heart of the Snakeslayer IV is a pair of 4.25" stainless steel barrels, longer than the standard Snakeslayer's 3.5" tubes, producing tighter shot patterns, higher velocities, and more manageable recoil with .410 shot loads. The single-action-only (SAO) trigger breaks cleanly, and a crossbolt safety sits within easy reach of the shooter's thumb. A blade front sight pairs with a fixed rear sight for quick, instinctive aiming at close range.

The frame, barrels, and major components are machined from stainless steel with a clean satin finish. The derringer measures 6.25" overall and weighs 23.50 oz. Designed on Bond Arms' interchangeable barrel platform, the Snakeslayer IV accepts the full line of Bond Arms replacement barrels, letting shooters swap calibers on a single frame. Extended rosewood grips fill the hand and help tame the stout recoil from .410 shot loads.

Additional features include automatic spent casing extraction, retracting firing pins, and Bond Arms' patented rebounding hammer design that allows the hammer to rest safely on the firing pin between shots for safer carry. With a 2-round capacity, this derringer ships ready to shoot and is sized to ride comfortably in a pocket, belt holster, or pack.
