The Bond Arms BARD Rustic Defender is a compact, two-shot derringer built on Bond Arms' proven break-action platform. This 3" barrel configuration is chambered for .45 Colt and accepts interchangeable 2.5" .410 shotshells, letting a shooter run both cartridges from the same set of chambers. The stainless steel frame and barrel finish keep the pistol rust-resistant for everyday carry, range duty, and field use.

The Rustic Defender measures just 5" overall with a 3" barrel and tips the scales at 20 oz, making it one of the lightest, handiest Bond Arms derringers in the lineup. A single-action-only (SAO) break-open action keeps the manual of arms simple, and the crossbolt safety provides positive, glove-friendly disengagement once the action is closed. A blade front and fixed rear sight pair give a clean sight picture for snap shots at close range.

Grips are Bond Arms' classic rosewood panels with integrated star medallions, lending the pistol a traditional wood-and-steel look. With a 2-round capacity, the Rustic Defender is built as a deep-cover backup or truck-gun pistol chambered for two of the most trusted defensive loads ever produced.
