Black Rain Ordnance SSP 5.56 NATO 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto AR-15 Rifle

The Black Rain Ordnance SSP is a semi-automatic sporting rifle built on the proven AR-15-pattern platform. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, this SSP model delivers Black Rain Ordnance's signature blacked-out fit and finish in a duty-ready configuration.

Up front, the SSP wears a 16" Black Nitride-treated threaded barrel, capped with a Castle Flash Suppressor and ready for the shooter's choice of muzzle device or suppressor. The barrel is paired with a black aluminum receiver coated in rugged Black Armor Cerakote and topped with a full-length Picatinny optics rail, giving shooters a clean optics-ready platform out of the box.

At its core, the SSP uses a drop-in trigger for a clean, consistent break. The rifle accepts standard AR-15-pattern detachable magazines in a 30+1 configuration, and the controls follow the familiar AR-15 layout that virtually every modern shooter already knows. Iron sights are not included, allowing the end user to mount their preferred red dot, holographic sight, or low-power variable optic directly to the integrated rail.

Out back, the SSP is dressed in duty-proven furniture: a Magpul MOE SL black polymer stock on the buffer tube and a black Magpul pistol grip, both color-matched to the receiver for a clean all-black look. The rifle weighs in at 7.08 lbs with an overall length of 34", making it a comfortable all-day carry for training, competition, recreational range use, or home defense.
