The Black Rain Ordnance Spec15 rifle chambered in .300 AAC Blackout brings the company's duty-grade AR-15 platform to shooters who want the same hard-use pedigree as its law enforcement and military builds. Built around a semi-automatic direct-impingement action with a 16" Chrome Moly barrel and a 1:8" twist, this Spec15 carbine pairs the company's service-ready AR-15 design with the popular 300 Blackout chambering.
The aluminum upper and lower receivers carry a rugged black hardcoat anodized finish built for hard use, while the barrel wears a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish to protect the bore and exterior from the elements. An A2 flash hider sits at the muzzle, threaded 5/8x24, and the rifle ships without iron sights so the end user can mount a red dot or low-power variable optic directly to the upper's optics-ready rail system.
Controls follow standard AR-15 pattern with an Enhanced G.I. Sopmod collapsible buttstock for adjustable length of pull, a right-hand configuration, and a standard G.I.-style trigger.
