The Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Paste Gun Blue Finishing Kit is a complete cold-bluing system built around the brand's deep, dense paste formula. The paste lays down a thicker, longer-lasting blue-black finish than the liquid version and gives better control when touching up scratches, holster wear, and small exposed spots on a steel firearm.

Everything needed to prep, blue, and protect a part is in the box: 2 oz of Perma Blue Paste Gun Blue, a 3 oz Cleaner-Degreaser for surface prep, a 3 oz Blue & Rust Remover to strip old finish, bluing applicators, a sponge, a service cloth, steel wool pads, and Barricade Rust Protection Gun Wipes to seal the fresh finish against corrosion.

Perma Blue paste works on ferrous metal only - it will not blue stainless steel, aluminum, or non-ferrous alloys. Used as directed on a properly cleaned and degreased surface, the kit restores the traditional blue-black look favored on vintage rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
