The Birchwood Casey Bipod Shooting Mat is a purpose-built range accessory that goes under your rifle's bipod to give you a more stable firing platform. This is the Large / Black version (model BSML-BLK), measuring 24" x 8", and it is built from heavy-duty 1000D nylon for long service life on the range.

Placed beneath a bipod, the mat helps reduce felt recoil and vibration during firing and works well on most hard surfaces. On softer ground, it spreads the load of the bipod feet so the legs do not dig in and throw off your sight picture. A double Velcro closure along the mat lets you load weighted media inside the pouch to hold the mat in place and add ballast for a steadier hold, then seal it up for transport.

The Birchwood Casey Bipod Shooting Mat is offered in two sizes - the Small (Tan) 16"x8" and this Large (Black) 24"x8" - so you can match the mat to your rifle and your shooting style. The low-profile 1000D nylon lays flat, packs easily, and is tough enough to handle repeated range sessions.
