The Bernardelli Model 60 is a classic Italian-made semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm). Manufactured by the renowned V. Bernardelli in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, this compact handgun offers a streamlined, elegant profile and legendary reliability. Perfect for collectors and historical firearm enthusiasts, this vintage handgun represents a golden age of European engineering before the Gun Control Act of 1968 restricted further importation of these pocket-sized firearms.
Built on an all-steel frame and slide, the Model 60 operates on a straight-blowback action enhanced by a unique twin recoil spring system designed to soften felt recoil. Its 3.5-inch barrel is fixed directly to the frame, improving inherent accuracy. The pistol is equipped with checkered black plastic grips, fixed open sights, an external hammer with a half-cock safety, and a classic European-style heel magazine release. It feeds from a single-stack 8-round capacity magazine.
This particular surplus pistol is a 1965 Production model (stamped with the "XXI" Italian proof code) and is fully C&R Eligible. It is offered in Good to Fair Condition. The pistol will show normal signs of use, including light scratches and wear on the finish, while still retaining the majority of its original finish. You may find slight rust or corrosion, and the original finish may exhibit a distinctive patina. Additionally, the black plastic grips and the plastic magazine base may have minor cracks or chips. Includes one 8-round magazine.
