The Berger Bullets VLD Hunting Match Grade bullet is a premium 6.5 Creedmoor reloading projectile built for hunters who demand match-grade accuracy paired with rapid, reliable expansion on game. Featuring a secant ogive Very Low Drag profile, this 130 gr bullet delivers an outstanding ballistic coefficient of .552 and a sectional density of .266, producing a flat trajectory, reduced wind drift, and deep penetration at extended hunting ranges.

VLD Hunting bullets share the same proven Very Low Drag geometry as Berger's renowned VLD Target line but are built around a thinner J4 Precision copper jacket specifically engineered to expand rapidly after penetrating 2-3 inches of tissue. The jacket wraps a lead core, and the bullet measures 1.324" overall length with no cannelure, giving handloaders free choice of seating depth and overall cartridge length. Built around the .264" bullet diameter, this projectile is also suitable for other 6.5mm hunting cartridges beyond 6.5 Creedmoor.
