The Berger Bullets VLD Hunting is a long-range hunting projectile engineered for handloaders shooting 7mm (.284) rifles. The 180 grain bullet pairs a lead core with Berger's J4 Hunting copper jacket and a secant ogive, boat tail profile that delivers a high ballistic coefficient and reliable expansion on medium and large game.

Each projectile measures 1.506" OAL with a .284" diameter and tips the scales at 180 gr. The VLD Hunting design carries a ballistic coefficient of .659 and a sectional density of .319, giving reloaders excellent retained velocity, energy, and wind-bucking capability at extended ranges. Berger recommends a 1:9" or faster twist rate for proper stabilization in 7mm rifle barrels.

This box contains 100 reload-ready projectiles with no cannelure, allowing handloaders to seat the bullet to whatever custom overall cartridge length their chamber and magazine demand.
