The Berger VLD Hunting bullet is one of the flattest-shooting hunting projectiles on the market. Identical in profile to Berger's match-grade VLD Target line, this 7mm hunting bullet is engineered to penetrate 2-3 inches into the vitals before expanding violently to create a massive wound cavity up to 15 inches, delivering devastating hydrostatic shock on deer-sized game and beyond.

Each bullet features a Secant Very Low Drag (VLD) ogive with a .510 ballistic coefficient and a .248 sectional density. The 140-grain projectile measures .284 in diameter and runs 1.267" overall length. It is built around a lead core wrapped in a copper jacket with no cannelure. The sleek secant ogive and high BC give handloaders the downrange velocity retention and trajectory necessary for confident long-range hunting on deer-sized game and beyond.
