Berger Bullets VLD Hunting Long Range 6mm 105gr Boat Tail - 100/Box

The Berger Bullets VLD Hunting in 6mm (.243) is a 105 grain Very Low Drag Boat Tail projectile purpose-built for long-range hunting. Part of Berger's Long Range hunting line, this bullet pairs a secant ogive nose with a boat tail base to deliver one of the flattest-shooting hunting projectiles available, holding velocity and energy exceptionally well at extended distances.

Construction centers on a thin J4 copper jacket over a lead core, engineered for reliable expansion and a wide wound channel on impact. The sharp nose lets the bullet drive into the target before initiating expansion, after which it sheds a significant portion of its weight to produce a massive wound cavity. With a ballistic coefficient of .545 and a sectional density of .254, this bullet is built for handloaders chasing game at distance.
