The Berger Classic Hybrid Hunter is a match-grade 6.5 Creedmoor/.264 projectile built to deliver the precision Berger's target lines are known for, refined with a hunting-specific profile for ethical, controlled expansion on game. Each bullet uses a hybrid secant ogive that blends the best of tangent and secant designs, giving handloaders a forgiving jump tolerance and consistent seating depths while retaining a sleek, high-BC profile that prints well at distance.
At 135 grains with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .584 and a sectional density of .277, this Classic Hybrid Hunter carries the downrange energy and wind-bucking authority that has made the 6.5 Creedmoor a go-to for western big game and open-country shooting. The boat tail base trims drag for flatter trajectories and improved performance in moderate crosswinds, while an overall length of 1.325" lets the bullet conform to SAAMI magazine dimensions and seat to published lengths in factory rifles and aftermarket magazines alike.
Classic Hunter bullets are built around a thinner J4 copper jacket over a lead core, engineered to penetrate 2-3" into the vitals before initiating expansion and then create a massive wound cavity up to 15" in soft tissue. That performance window makes them equally well suited for medium game such as deer and antelope, and for larger game when driven at appropriate velocities from a suitable platform. Each box contains 100 bullets for the reloader building hunting-grade 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition.
