The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun purpose-built for waterfowl and turkey hunters who want full camo concealment and maximum pattern reach. Chambered for 3.5" super-magnum shells, the A400 Xtreme Plus pairs a 28" Steelium Plus vent-rib barrel with a 2+1 capacity, giving hunters the barrel length and shot-string density needed for incoming birds at extended range.

At the heart of the A400 is Beretta's Steelium Plus barrel, engineered for reduced felt recoil and extended barrel life. The vent rib features a step rib profile and tops a fiber-optic front sight for fast target pickup in low light. The 3.5" chamber accepts the full spectrum of 12 Gauge loads, from light 2-3/4" target shells up through heavy 3.5" magnums, and enlarged controls round out the exterior package for easy manipulation with gloved hands.

The synthetic stock is fitted with the Kick-Off mechanical recoil-reduction system, which uses internal dampers to soak up felt recoil and keep the shooter on the gun through long hunts. A reversible crossbolt safety sits behind the trigger for right-hand operation, and the full Mossy Oak Original Bottomland finish extends across the stock and receiver for concealment in flooded timber, picked cornfields, and early-season marsh grass.

The A400 Xtreme Plus ships from the factory with Beretta's Optima-Bore HP choke tube set (5 choke tubes included), ready for patterning and immediate field use. At 28" with a 3.5" chamber, this is the longer-reach companion to the 26" Xtreme Plus variant, the right pick for open-water pass shooting and field work where extra barrel swing and a tighter pattern are an asset.
