The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus is a 12 Gauge semi-auto shotgun purpose-built for hard-charging waterfowl, turkey, and adverse-weather hunting. This configuration pairs a 26" Steelium Plus vent-rib barrel with a 3.5" chamber, giving shooters the reach to swing on decoying birds while still handling the heaviest magnum loads on the market.

The action runs Beretta's proven semi-automatic gas operating system, feeding from a 2+1 capacity (two shells in the magazine tube plus one in the chamber). The barrel is built from Beretta's proprietary Steelium Plus tri-alloy steel with an integrated vent rib and step-rib profile, designed to reduce felt recoil and pattern consistently. The signature Kick-Off mechanical recoil-reduction system inside the stock further tames muzzle flip and softens the push from heavy goose and turkey loads.

This model wears Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage across the stock and forend, blending effectively into flooded timber, marsh grass, and crop-field layouts. It is configured for right-hand shooters and uses a reversible crossbolt safety at the trigger guard. The shotgun ships with five Optima HP Extended chokes, giving a full spread of constrictions for waterfowl, turkey, and upland work.
