Battle Arms Development Workhorse 223 Wylde 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Battle Arms Development Workhorse is a duty-grade semi-auto AR-15 platform rifle chambered in .223 Wylde and built around a forged 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver. Purpose-built for hard use, the Workhorse series delivers a reliable, feature-rich package right out of the box, ready for range, duty, or defensive applications.

Up front, the Workhorse wears a 16" 4150 chrome-moly medium-profile barrel with a 1:7" twist for excellent accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights. The .223 Wylde chamber lets the rifle safely and accurately fire both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition, giving shooters maximum flexibility across factory loads and handloads.

An optic-ready flat-top upper makes mounting a red dot, low-power variable, or traditional scope simple, while the manual thumb safety provides familiar AR-15-style control. The receiver is finished in black and is paired with a black polymer pistol grip and the included 6-position B5 Bravo adjustable stock for customizable length of pull.

The rifle ships with a 30-round detachable magazine for a 30+1 capacity. Overall length runs 33" to 36.25" depending on stock position, and the rifle tips the scales at 6.30 lbs. Set up for right-handed shooters, the Workhorse is a no-nonsense tactical rifle ready for the line.
