The Battle Arms Development WORKHORSE 017-CA is a duty-grade 223 Wylde semi-automatic rifle purpose-built around a forged WORKHORSE-pattern 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver. Part of the Workhorse series of firearms, this CA Compliant variant is configured for a 10+1 capacity to meet California feature and capacity requirements.

Up front, a 16" medium-profile 4150 Chrome Moly barrel is chambered in 223 Wylde and broached to a 1:7" twist, allowing the rifle to safely fire both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. The hardcoat black anodized finish protects the receiver and barrel assembly from corrosion and hard use, while the optic-ready top rail accepts your choice of red dot, LPVO, or conventional scope.

Out back, the WORKHORSE 017-CA is dressed with a B5 Systems Bravo 6-position adjustable stock in black, paired with a black polymer pistol grip. The adjustable stock lets you dial in length-of-pull and comb height for any role or body type, while the manual thumb safety provides familiar AR-pattern control. The rifle is configured for right-hand shooters.

Overall length runs 33" to 36.25" across the six stock positions, and the package weighs in at 6.30 lbs unloaded.
