The Bash Target Supply AR500 8" Round Gong is a reactive steel shooting target laser-cut from 5/16" thick AR500 steel, the same high-hardness ballistic plate alloy used in commercial-grade steel targets for the range.

At 8" in diameter, this round gong provides a generous aiming surface that rings audibly and swings visibly on every hit, giving immediate feedback for both dry practice and live fire. Three 1/2" mounting holes are precision-cut into the plate so it can be rigged as a live hanging gong on a chain or cable, or bolted directly to a backing post for static steel practice.

This plate belongs to Bash Target Supply's Red series of guaranteed 5/16" thick AR500 targets and carries a maximum rating of 3,000 ft-lbs of energy and 3,000 fps bullet velocity. Per the manufacturer's Red series rating, it is intended for rimfire rifles and centerfire handguns up through .45 ACP when hung at the proper downward angle with a suitable backstop behind the target.
