Barrett REC7 DI 5.56x45mm NATO 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Barrett REC7 DI is a lightweight, magazine-fed AR-pattern carbine chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and compatible with 223 Remington. Its semi-automatic direct-gas-impingement action uses a rotating bolt and mid-length gas system, while the detachable magazine provides a 30+1 capacity.

The 16" cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel, within the 16" to 16.99" barrel-length range, has a fast 1:7 twist and is fitted with a Barrett three-prong flash hider. A Geissele gas block supports the gas system. The rifle measures 33" overall and weighs 6.60 lbs, giving the REC7 DI compact carbine dimensions with a full 16" barrel.

Both the upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, with black components protected by a Type III hardcoat-anodized finish. The extended slimline Barrett M-LOK handguard offers modular accessory mounting, and the receiver's MIL-STD-1913 top rail accommodates sights and other rail-mounted equipment. Sights are included.

Fire controls center on an ALG Defense QMS trigger and an ambidextrous two-position Safe/Fire safety. The rifle also includes a magazine release, bolt catch, mil-spec charging handle, forward assist and ejection-port cover. A beveled magazine well and enhanced trigger guard round out the receiver configuration.

Black synthetic Magpul furniture includes the buttstock and pistol grip. This new REC7 DI includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG.
