The Barrett MRAD SMR is a precision long-range bolt action rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, purpose-built for shooters who demand accuracy and reliability at extended distances. As part of Barrett's Multi-Role Adaptive Design (MRAD) platform, the SMR (Single Mission Rifle) configuration is offered with a fixed stock and fixed caliber for shooters who want a dedicated rifle rather than a convertible system.

At the heart of the MRAD SMR is a 26" match grade fluted barrel with a 1:9.40 twist, finished in Black Cerakote and fitted with a two-port muzzle brake to help tame .338 Lapua recoil. The bolt action feeds from a detachable box magazine for a 10+1 total capacity. The barrel is mated to a precision-machined aluminum receiver topped with a Picatinny optics rail, ready to mount a wide range of long-range scopes and accessories.

The MRAD SMR features a fixed stock with an adjustable comb for proper cheek weld, paired with a black Magpul MOE polymer grip for comfortable, secure control. Controls include a thumb safety and an adjustable trigger, and the right-hand ergonomic layout is purpose-built for right-handed precision shooters.
